Baby Steps

The Christmas holiday period couldn’t have come any sooner for me, I needed this time to recharge the batteries because I was physically and mentally exhausted.

The last 3 years in particular have been tough – the death of my dad, my marriage ending, going through a divorce, setting up a new home, whilst running a business, finding me again and more importantly trying to be the best dad I could be.

I needed this period to rest and think…. I realised I had finally found acceptance with the curve balls that life had thrown at me and now I’m ready to kick on and get what I want from life.

But to do this, I realised I needed to change my lifestyle habits to give myself the time, energy and money to succeed with getting the life I want.

Why am I telling you this…

My wants, needs and experiences, may not, directly reflect your own because we are all different in terms of personality and financial position.

However, we are all similar in terms of the type of goals, challenges and the range of life events we experience.

Our wants and needs can add extra pressure onto our daily life and finances which can very easily lead to not getting what we want or we find ourselves going about things wrong.

I sincerely believe we can all start to overcome the varying factors that may be holding us back and getting done what needs to be done.

We can move forward with living our life, be happy, whilst getting on track with achieving our goals. Baby steps are better than standing still.

If you are ready and want to start moving forward, achieve your goals, fund some large purchases, or even start on a new life – my experience of taking time out and thinking things through may well just work for you also.

Making It Happen

Thinking about things and dipping our toe in, is not going to make things happen.  We have got to commit to:

    • Knowing what we want
    • Knowing what to do
    • Knowing how to do it
    • Focus on doing it

If we want change, we’ve got to start taking action
